Hi Mayee, The answer to your question is yes and no.

No: Nobody can keep track of your history from your computer's side. Yes: Your ISP(Internet Service Provider) can keep track of your history.

Either way you don't have to worry about anybody using your computer accessing that data.

Private Browsing mode only means that Firefox doesn't store any session data in the Firefox profile folder (all data is kept in memory and is purged when the PB mode is closed). Nothing else changes with regard to security software that runs on the computer and the router and ISP will still see the normal internet traffic just like in normal mode.
