why is my internet slow to launch when i turn my laptop on

Hello I am a older bloke with memery issues and problems so if you can answer my query please reply in basic terms ta. Every time it turn on my laptop and click on the Mozilla internet button it takes about two minutes to load up plus sometimes the internet is unavalable. When I am on the internet Mozilla is very quick, I am using Sky wireless connection. Many thanks and hope you can help me. Steve

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
