I have rather werid problem with Firefox since yesterday. Mainly the three buttons at the top corner are invisible. I can still click on them but I cannot see them, as if they are obscured by upper tab. I tried to launch Firefox in safe mode and I use standart theme. If I restart the computer it is fine, but once I close firefox and then open it again( or even if I just open new window) problem returns.

If you use a non standard windows theme or made other appearance changes then try to revert those changes and use a (different) standard theme or Windows wallpaper.

  • Control Panel > Personalization > Theme & Window Color and Appearance

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
