Can't send messages in Thunderbird since TDS converted my email ....how can I fix this?

more options

Since TDS converted my email, I no longer can send messages in Thunderbird. I have checked all the settings and they seem to match the correct configurations. This is so frustrating! TDS claims its a Mozilla issue.

I have no idea what or who TDS is, and what 'converted my email' means. Can you be a little more specific? What are 'the correct configurations'?

TDS is my email provider (and also a major telecommunications company). They recently had to convert their email program because google mail was no longer going to support it. In doing so, it created lots of issues for anyone with a TDS email account. Suddenly, for me, I could no longer send out emails. "Correct configurations" I meant the email account settings (incoming/outgoing servers, ports, etc). I actually found a settings change on another blog and tried it, and it fixed my problem.
