my adobe flash keeps crashing, windows 8.1, everytime. I have updated Fox and flash and nothing seems to work. I have submitted 100's crash reports.

This isn't really a issue Firefox can fix. Adobe is a separate group from Adobe and there isn't much we can do about it. I have noticed now in days less modern websites are using Flash. And popular websites like YouTube will give you a HTML version if you dont have flash. If you wish to keep Adobe Flash i suggest you contact their support.

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
