Can't print from Browser
I have Win 8.1, HP Prem C310 printer. When I ask for a print preview it comes up blank. If I go to print before or after preview I get a blank page. Happens in email,(Yahoo) or any website I might want a copy of, like receipts. I have done the Pref.js procedure and all the ones before it. No problem printing in IE. This is a fairly, a month or so, recent problem but I don't know what the change was that instigated this problem.

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- click the menu button
, click Help
and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Helpful Reply
If you cannot see any content on pages you printed or in print preview, the cause might be margins which are set too high.
- In order to check the margins, we need to go to File > Page Setup.
- Once this is done, switch to the Margins & Header/Footer tab.
- Check what's set there under Margins.
The following are the default values for Margins:
Right: 12.7
Top: 12.7
Left: 12.7
Bottom: 12.7
Check these values accordingly and change them if necessary.
Helpful Reply
Ok safe mode made no difference. DeadRat may have something, my top margin was very much huge. Changed all to 12.7 what ever that is. Now fire fox locks up totally when I ask for a print preview. And so it continues....
