Habitual Flash Player Crashes

I have been having habitual issues with Shockwave Flash plug-in. Not that long into sessions of Firefox the plug-in becomes entirely unresponsive, freezing and then crashing. I can turn it off, of course, but you need Flash to run a lot of videos, so not having the plug-in is not an option. I've gone through all of the silly "fixes" including turning off hardware acceleration on both the plug-in and general program. I've tried deleting cookies and such, which really isn't an option when you're doing a longer session and don't want to constanting lose your site log-ins. There are no adware or malware that I've been able to find.

The only other thing I can imagine is that it may be my graphics driver. If anyone can deduce anything from that, let me know. I'm not even sure what I'm running. Honestly, the computer is new enough that this shouldn't be about the graphics driver. I also don't experience this problem with other browsers, so I'm mostly sure it's not something with my system.
