remove bar from under awesome bar

There is a bar that had websites such as ebay and whatnot listed underneath the Awesome Bar. I removed all the sites but now have a blank bar under the Awesome Bar and above the webpage that I want to remove. Could not find a way to do so. I don't see a spot to add a screenshot but I have one that points it out if I am unclear.

Ha! Here's the screenshot I've got. That big blank bar, I want it gone!

Right-click the Tab Bar to the right of the + and deselect Bookmarks Toolbar from that context menu.
