Corrupt Favorite crashes firefox
I have a folder in my favorites that generates an infinite number of web pages if you even drag the mouse across it. It cannot be removed by any of the means recommended by Mozilla. I have completely removed firefox from all of my machines and as soon as I reinstall firefox the favorite is still there. It now has basically infected every machine through the cloud as my favorites are synced. THERE IS NO WAY TO REMOVE IT. PLEASE help or I will have to abandon Firefox on all of my machines because it locks them up every time I try to use a favorite.

Are you talking about a Firefox bookmark doing that?
Yes and you cannot remove it because in order to remove it you have to select it which locks up the computer. It is actually a folder in the bookmarks.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
