Why is Firefox sending out so many new updates? I download them, then I'm asked to download them again. I'm sick of it!
I have 3 different computers I work with and I'm sick and tired of Firefox constantly having updates. Just 3 days ago, I updated all the computers and now there is a new one? I don't have time to keep doing this all the time! What gives?

hello 1954cjohnson, the last update that went out was issued to address a critical vulnerability in firefox and chrome that would have to allowed malicious sites to forge a connection to look like it is coming from a trusted source: https://www.mozilla.org/security/announce/2014/mfsa2014-73.html i'm sure you can appreciate the improved security when taking the minor hassle of upgrading into account.
firefox also comes with an automated updater, which should perform most of the work for you...
The frequency of updates is so high that I have had to finally remove your browser from my system. It was beyond ridiculous. Below is the history up until this morning where I pulled the plug on your browser.

@stevegossett64: this is not the update interval of the regular firefox release version. if you download and use a beta or even earlier developement version of the browser, these update intervals are to be expected on the other hand...
stevegossett64, what version are you using as that does not look like Releases but perhaps using occasional updates of Aurora or Nightly channel development builds. Only the Aurora and Nightly get updates almost everyday due to checkins. Beta gets six to twelve builds in a six week period with nine being average.
The 32.0 had three chemdpill updates that was warranted due to securiy or fixes that could not wait for next Release. The 33.0 has had a couple chemspill updates also. Normally these chemspill updates rarely happen.
I know the difference between the beat and the download so I am confident that it was not beta. I gave it another go, I have 33.0.2 installed and will see what happens. I use Chrome quite a bit but for years Firefox has been by second browser of choice. Thanks for any responses guys.
