forward a webpage via email
I want to share a website location via email while I'm on Firefox. How do I do that?
Chosen solution
Firefox has an "Email Link" feature but it is not on the menu or on the toolbar when you first install Firefox. You can add it using the Customize feature. This article describes how to open the Customize dialog, where you can drag the Email Link icon to the menu or toolbar: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
You also can find it on the classic menu bar. If you do not usually display that bar (File, Edit, View...), you can display it temporarily by tapping the Alt key or pressing the F10 key. Then, check the File menu for Email Link.
If you have not previously set up Firefox to connect to your mail application or mail site, you should get a dialog with some choices. If your mail application or mail site is not listed, please post back with more information about what you want to use to send the message.

I have the File and "send link by email" feature, but when I went to do that for the first time in Windows 7, it only offered me Yahoo and Gmail as options. The only application I could find on my computer that sounded like Hotmail was Windows Live Mail. So now that is the default email and all my hotmail files started transferring over which I had no intention of doing. Not sure what to do now, still want Hotmail as my default email and don't want a Windows Live account at all. Thanks!
