Unable to log into reddit with Firefox 29
Attempt to log into reddit.com, and returns back to same screen. I tried with all add-ons disabled, and cleared all history. Private window no change. I can log in with the same credentials on Chrome.
Same problem occurred on my desktop, and I had to create a new profile, and it worked. Same symptoms now occurring on laptop.
Chosen solution
Note that this can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked (check the permissions on the about:permissions page).
Also make sure that your extensions or other (security software) isn't blocking cookies.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Works for me.
It is probably something to do with your setup, or maybe the cache or cookies. try Control +F5 toreload with a new cache. If that does not help clear the cookies for that site.
