Sent mail has suddenly vanished

Sent mail has suddenly vanished, even though it is still on the originating file server. This happened very suddenly. I uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird, but no change. I am about to reboot PC to see if this will solve the problem. Very strange!

Unfortunately your attached tiny screen shot doesn’t help! Did your sent messages suddenly vanish from your Sent (or Sent Mail) folder? Or did the Sent (or Sent Mail) folder itself vanish from your IMAP account in the folder pane? Thankyou, Mapenzi. After rebooting my PC twice and reinstalling Thunderbird, everything started working again. It was a weird problem as I could see ‘Sent Mail’ by logging into the home file server (Cantab.net) but my ‘Sent Mail’ folder wasn’t showing up in Thunderbird. I keep all my travel email in a folder under ‘Sent Mail’ - so was really alarmed! Thank you again, jkgla
