Dear Sirs

I am Brazilian and I do not know well the English language. Forgive me.

Always used Firefox since its version 4. Until version 29 everything went well.

My OS is Windows-7 Home Basic, with 2 Gb of RAM.

Firefox until version 29, has always worked well with my OS, or open multiple browsers (reached about 15 browsers open) at the same time with multiple tabs and NEVER caught anything.

But when I installed version 30, I noticed instability in the browser, ie when opening 7 or more browsers, the system implodes all (closes ALL browsers) and various error reports were sent to the people responsible for Mozilla

If up to version 29 I used and abused with various browsers and their tabs open, and all pages loaded with a different site, and nothing wrong was happening, why now, in version 30, is happening so many problems and errors?

Well, providences that I've made:

1) I restored the FF - Firefox

2) I disabled hardware acceleration in the options FF

3) I disabled ALL add-ons of FF

4) My protective programs that are always in use:

a) Comodo Antivirus and Firewall (Direct Use) b) Spybot Search & Destroy (Almost every day) c) SUPERAntiSpyware (Almost every day) d) Removal Tool Malicious Software Windows (Almost every day)

But most of these programs did not show anything abnormal, and that could be related to "Crashes" Firefox 30.

Could you help me?

Thank you.

Jefferson

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the IDs of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).

  • Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location bar.

Note that there is also the pt-BR version of this forum if you prefer Portuguese.

Dear Moderator,

Thanks for your help. I got IDs of one or more recent crash reports, according to your guidelines. A short summary of this page can be seen below :

Crashing Thread

Frame Module Signature 0 Mpk.dll Mpk.dll@0x32b3b 1 Mpk.dll Mpk.dll@0xfbfc 2 Mpk.dll Mpk.dll@0xfcbb

The Refog Program that contains the MPK.dll file was installed by me direct from the official website Refog. I did it to monitor the activities of my son who is a teenager. And this Refog program and its file MPK.dll NEVER interfered with versions earlier than FF 30.

But I admit that maybe the FF 30 is incompatible with the MPK.dll.

If this is the cause of the problem, maybe I have to wait for a new version of FF higher than 30... But I'm Not sure.

Grateful. jefferson

P.S.: Thanks for the address of Mozilla support in Portuguese. I had already posted the same question there. They helped me a lot, but for now the problem persists.

Hello,

Good news. It was even Refog Program, a paid program that monitors the computer is what was causing conflict with Firefox FF-30. I wrote to them, and after a while they answered :
