Firefox crashes - please help
Hello everyone,
I've been using FF for years with absolutely no problem, but for a few weeks it's been crashing every 30 minutes if I use it and if it remains open over night for instance, I find it crashed too. I did everything I could hoping that at least I would find the root cause of the problem, but all my efforts were in vain. It crashes in safe mode too, it crashes even after a new clean installation with absolutely no add-on installed, it crashes on all windows profiles and it crashes even with plugin-container disabled. Basically the only thing which I didn't do was to reinstall windows, thing which I want to avoid as much possible. My computer is running smoothly and starting windows customization all over again is not exactly what I want to do.
These are the crash reports ID (only a few of them): bp-935ef0a3-3fd1-42df-b1d4-5c1c62140626 bp-e0b3f8de-eebd-4507-b227-4d2812140626 bp-62d443c7-d053-43ad-b8ca-3204c2140626 bp-159677a7-d0d6-41e6-b371-c22aa2140626 bp-349cda1f-5b6a-4433-9bfc-804e02140626
Is there any chance to get help with this problem ?
Thank you, Bogdan

That is a problem with the Mpk.dll file: Firefox 30.0 Crash Report [@ mpk.dll@0x32e5b ]

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

A systematic method of troubleshooting exist for this problem.
Does this only happen with FireFox? Do other browsers perform well? By "crash", do you mean freezes? If not, what do you mean?

Thank you cor-el. Your recommendation was helpful. Mpk.dll was the root cause.
Cheers, Bogdan
