128.13.0esr This is probably a huge long shot I know, because every forum etc on the internet has nothing that ever helps with this, but as it only happens in FF I thought it was worth a try.

Yesterday I changed my Privacy settings to 'delete cookies when FF is closed' and added a few exceptions. Then this Google Search reCaptcha thing started. Changed it back to what it was, basically the default setting there, but it was still happening. It only happens in FF [doesn't happen with Edge] and only on one pc, all other pc's and phones in the house are fine [all using the same network, router etc]. So I uninstalled FF altogether, reinstalled it...this thing was still happening regardless of what settings I use re cookies etc. If I actually complete the super annoying reCaptcha it goes away for about 1 or 2 searches, then comes back.

If I'm signed in to a Google account it doesn't happen.

I even did a fresh Windows install [which actually fixed this the other time this was happening about 6 months ago] but that didn't fix it this time. There is no malware, no VPN, no extensions that I haven't been using for years. Nothing that could ever possibly be considered 'bot-like' behaviour.

I was asked to create a new profile in order to keep using Firefox, despite never having an account. After I clicked okay, it opened the new version of Firefox, but without all the passwords, bookmarks and history of the past few years. This is really inconvenient. I have since then made an account, but the fact that I can't find any of this data anywhere has me worried that every time I update Firefox it will wipe my account.

Yahho search is on my home screen but not on my app list. I suspect malware. I use Bitdefender free for antivirus and scans sho no problem. I read that yahoo search can be hacked.What can I do

Ability to Right Click Tab (as one does to Pin) / choose Colorize-Trans / 9-20 available colors (millions-color picker?) / Tab stays in location.. but is colorized and set to transparency of that available on color tab transparency slider....Improving 1's "Performance", as well as 1's brain "connectivity" of finding tab desired... Instantly. As of 7/10/2025, Xfinity Streaming does not open through Firefox. I much prefer Firefox to any other browser so I am a little mystified as to why all of a sudden Xfinity Streaming does not open. I receive my Comcast email through FireFox but when it comes to streaming content, the Xfinity logo just sits there and does not open.

Since I updated to Firefox 141.02 I have not been able to play videos on Paramount+ or Netflix. I get an error on the top that says the Widevine plugin has crashed on both streaming services. I have checked that the plugin is on and there are no updates. I am on Ubuntu 24.04. Video on YouTube plays as normal

Trying to log into Amazon and Firefox is request a Passkey. I selected to log in with my usually password and the passkey request will not go away...WTF Firefox this is total bs that this type of request is being even suggested when I have a password, pin and phone verification to already login.
