Sounds like you've got a botched Firefox download. Only download from the official Mozilla source (mozilla.org). There's a few things to do here separated with a horizontal line
Uninstall anything you don't recognize from your Control Panel (Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program
You will want to use ADWCleaner to remove remnants of the hijacker
Last thing to check for is do a malware check
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
