I have difficulty with Gmail as it won't load in the regular version and I have to use html.. or the old clunky screen. It was uninstalled and reinstalled because of malware problems several times, and it works just fine for about a week then reverts to the problem area. I don't know what to do to fix it other than uninstalling and reinstalling. I have run my malware software and it doesn't report anything. I would appreciate any help.

Maybe your program isn't finding it, no malware scanner is perfect.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Sorry -- nothing has changed. I still can't get standard view and am stuck in HTML. I downloaded HitmanPro and ran that in addition to MalwareBytes which I already use. Should I try a third?
It is now working again - I have no idea why but.... thanks so much for your help. Fingers crossed that it lasts.
