Seriously what good are you if you can't even run a movie without me having to search a forum.
all i use my net for is facebook netflix n online gaming seriously i am disgusted that you can call your self a browser when you can't even do the most basic thing.
i think it has something to do with the mouse, after a certain time of mouse inactivity mozilla can't handle the pressure (lol) n freezes my movie... but if i sit next to the PC and jiggle the mouse every now and then -instead of sitting back in comfort as i should be able to, it seems to not freeze or atleast jumps out of freeze asap.
although google had a fair few bugs,
- Drop outs
- forgetting settings
- non existent help forums
- fail extension lock outs
- and a FB page dedicated to spam
my irritation had been building for along time,
you guys however have failed from the get go with you inability to complete a simple task, i mean what am i to expect in the future if on the first day you fail?

Some other users have reported that they have to move the mouse to keep videos playing, but that bug should have been fixed a while ago.
What version are you running, exactly? You can check Help > About Firefox.
The current release is Firefox 27; see: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) If you have any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) To work around graphics card driver incompatibilities, disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
- In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
- In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable the Flash Player plugin's protected mode feature. The following pages provide different ways to disable the feature:
- Adobe support article under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
- Batch file to automate the manual steps: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/982093#answer-518078
Any improvement?
i would have thought the firefox i downloaded 2 days ago would have been upto date, i'll check your link though and ii'll try the other ideas to, thanks :)
non of those options helped, i am still in the same boat i was before, thanks for your help on the issue, is there a fire fox employee around here!?
i would like a fix or does fire fox belong in the trash? i should not have to deal with these issues to begin with.

Sir you need to lose your attitude and show this browser some respect.. I don't know where you watching your videos but I have NEVER once in 10 years had an issue with firefox/flash or a combination of the two (other than the fact that since adobe bought flash it's truly lost it's major appeal)
then again... I know how to use a computer... lol but then again so does my youngen...
this is the basics of the basics
everytime i redo someones computer or my own...
windows > firefox > adblock plus addon > windows updates
while i wait for the updates I download all of my drivers and software
Graphics driver (amd and nvidia (both of my systems) I download my motherboards chipset drivers so that my board can properly communicate with windows... I never trust windows stock drivers (even if they are certified I always download the newest drivers from the manufacturers website)
once windows is finally completely uptodate
I install in order
All Drivers > Avast Antivirus > CCleaner > Defraggler(for my storage drives) > VLC Player > Winamp > Divx > Firefox addons and extensions(HTTPS Everywhere > Greasemonkey > Roboform Light > OpenDownload > Download Statusbar(which has been broken since 27) > Avast Online Security > Easy Youtube Video Do.... > Flash Player + Shockwave Player(yes you need both though most are clueless to this fact) ) and finally Adobe Reader and then I start on my video games (if it's my pc)
So all in all you're "issue" is isolated to your setup and has NOTHING to do with Firefox at all don't bash Mozilla because your too incompetent to learn computer basics 101.
it's not Mozilla's job to supply you with third party support (IE: Flash + Shockwave Players) just be glad they still support that garbage.
Go here download Flash and Shockwave make sure they are uptodate
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES keep the check boxes for ANYTHING other than agreeing to terms checked!!!!
NO to McAfee NO to Norton they are the original Culprits of this whole virus mess anyways.
