Flash constantly crashes

Flash plugin crashes constantly. I mean every other page. I disabled it entirely which made a bigger problem so I turned it back on. I have tinkered and tinkered but to no avail. I have removed Java and all Adobe from the browser and computer and reinstalled. Short of deleting and reinstalling Firefox and losing my bookmarks, any suggestions? I see others have this problem too but the suggestions to them have not helped me. It just won't stop crashing. :(

hello perthy, maybe it's an issue with the protected mode in the flash plugin - you could try if disabling protected mode makes a difference.
