All of my apps/extensions are gone! I had ADblocker plus, a bunch of down load helpers, "do not track me", a bunch of other stuff and they are all gone. What happened? The only extension I still have is Realdownloader 1.3.3.

I haven't changed anything or downloaded anything since I used my PC a couple hours ago. If I did a "restore" on my PC would that bring them back?

                                  HELP!!!

Firefox might have performed a reset. It might suggest this to you when it is feeling sluggish at startup, or if there is a major problem during an update, it might do it automatically. If this theory is correct, you should find a folder on your desktop named Old Firefox Data with a copy of your old settings folder in it. Can you find anything like that?

If so, possible routes to recovery are described in this thread: I reset firefox and now some of my add on's are gone and when i try reinstalling them , it says it already exists but i cant find it!!!!

Does that help?

It does appear that Firefox did a reset but there is no folder on my desktop. I have been downloading all of my apps that I had before and none of them is giving me a pop-up that says they already exist.

It's really odd that it would do a reset. It has been working perfect and it was starting very fast. Hmm . . . well I think I have it back to where I had it so I'm happy! I just hope it doesn't start doing this on a regular basis!
Thanks for the speedy response! I always get great help at Firefox!!
