When I click on a link for a popup window, the windows are always blank! I even turned of blocking (which has never been an issue in all the years I've used Firefox), but no difference. Would it perhaps be due to Mavericks?

Chosen solution

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
