my text graphics are some times pixelated but are ok if i start in firefoxes safe mode

i have tried disabling addons, reinstalling firefox with and without my original settings but it still does it however in safe mode it doesnt do it, it is quite noticable in face book but it also does it on other text things including the pluggins how to remove page

Hello plecostamus, try to Turn off hardware acceleration and check firefox again.

(in safe mode hardware acceleration is disable)

yes just firefox..if i use internet explorer it dosent happen

Check if you have a userContent.css file in your profile folder in the chrome folder.

(also in safe mode the userChrome.css and userContent.css files are ignored.)

Create a new firefox profile and check it in the new profile.

After that, if with the new profile firefox works great see : Recovering important data from an old profile

I found on a forum, a person with the same problem, she said after uninstall the helvetica font (and related fonts) , she restarted the PC and the problem was solved.

Are you sure that hardware acceleration is disable ?

In order to be able to find the correct solution to your problem, we require some more non-personal information from you. Please do the following:

  • Click the Firefox button at the top left, then click the Help menu and select Troubleshooting Information from the submenu. If you don't have a Firefox button, click the Help menu at the top and select Troubleshooting Information from the menu.

Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
