My browser keeps telling me to upgrade to the lastest version, but I am already using the latest version??
I have tried removing firefox and reinstalling but the problem persists.

How are you being told you need to upgrade to latest version?
Is your homepage still the old Firefox start page hosted by Google as in say http://www.google.com/firefox ? as Google has not maintained this page ever since Firefox 4.0 which has since switched to using about:home. The old Google page has the "You're not on the latest version of Firefox. Upgrade today to get the best of the Web!".

hi iamrod
which version of Firefox browser you are using ?
ok iamrod
as you are 25.1 version u can check one thing
go to options- options in that select advanced tab and in that tab select update click on radio button Automatically install updates (recommended )
thanks
That would be 25.0.1 - although a minor version number like that needs to be read in about"support" or Help > Troubleshooting Information, under the Application Basics > Version line.
