Every time I open firefox it ignores my homepage setting and goes to ampedwireless.com/home.asp. No matter what URL I type in, when I press enter it redirects to this page. I noticed that when I right click on the Firefox Icon it has Amped Wireless checked right above where it says New Window (Mac OS X 10.8.2) I can't find a way to uncheck it. It is also checked in the Window option of the toolbar at the top of my screen.

It seems like you use Amped Wireless device to connect to internet.

Its not firefox that redirects you to that page, its your Amped device that redirects you to that page. I think you need to configure you device check the device manual for more info.

If this happens on every browser or when you are using the internet from any other place please inform here we will take a deep look.

Thank you

I'm not trying to use the wireless service, I have it connected through Ethernet cable to a router.

All the computer in my warehouse are hooked up through ethernet except for a few that use the wireless service. I just bought two new iMacs that I'm trying to set up, I connected them to the router because I do NOT want to connect them to the wireless internet.

Are you able to browse other website in other browser..?

Actually now it's bringing up Ampedwireless as well.

If all the browser redirect to the same page then we are sorry, we cannot do any things its your router that redirects you to that page.

I think you need to configure some settings in the router, you can refer your manufacturer website for further info.

Thank you for using Firefox
