Could you try this:

(1) Open http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/ (log in if necessary)

(2) Click Tools, then on the Import/Export page, click Export Now

(3) On the next page, choose All Bookmarks, Firefox bookmarks, Export

Save the file in a convenient location. If you have Firefox set to let you change the file name, maybe add Yahoo to the front so you know they are your Yahoo bookmarks.

To import that file into Firefox, check out the steps in this article: Import Bookmarks from an HTML file. They should appear in a new folder on the Bookmarks menu.
