Firefox 23 does not display Google Groups web sites

I am the administrator of a Google group. I can log into Google Groups with my name and password, but all I get is a page where I can search for names groups or messages. If I enter the name of a group, absolutely nothing happens. I have no problem logging into Google Groups with Internet Explorer. Also, I had no problems with the previous version of Firefox.

I reset Firefox to its default state and that solved the problem. No further answers are needed.

hello, please try to clear the cache & cookies from google.com and reload the page. in case this doesn't solve the issue already, also go through the steps covered in Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should ...

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Firefox 25.01 Macintosh still doesn't let the main Google Groups signon page load.

I had this problem and it was related to an addon called "Quick Translate". Removing or disabling this addon fixed the issue for Google Groups as well as Desire 2 Learn (D2L).
