What is a dropbox?
I am attempting to download a number of video and pdf files. I don't understand the need for or use of the 'dropbox'. Can you assist me?

Dropbox is similar to Google Drive.
They all you to save your files online, instead of on your computer.
This allows you to access your digital storage on any computer, anywhere (internet connection required).
These services are the same as putting a file on a USB or emailing a file to yourself and downloading them onto another computer.
These services are good. I do not recommend putting all of your computer's documents in Dropbox/Drive, nor do I recommend putting files with a lot of personal information in them because they are stored online where anyone can hack into them.
