My old computer died and I had lots of saved passwords. How can I get them back?

My old laptop wont charge anymore so there's no way for me to get on to just right them down or anything. Is there anywhere they're saved online or somewhere I can retrieve my saved passwords?

Your passwords are only stored online if you've used either the Firefox Sync feature or an add-on like LastPass.

Otherwise, your passwords are stored in the signons.sqlite and key3.db files in your profile folder.

Connect the presumably still functional hard drive from your defective laptop to a different computer. Since it's laptop hard drive, you'll probably want to look for a hard drive enclosure from your favorite computer parts retailer.
