When will Firefox for windows 8 and Windows RT be available?

Posted

Recently brought a Microsoft Surface RT. I need Firefox for the browser because the Explorer does not work for the website dramafever.com. I was told Firefox for Surface RT was not available yet. Question: When will it be available at the Microsoft 'Store'. They tell me it must be install though the 'store'.

Most likely never on the RT, until Microsoft revises it's policies.

What about when Windows 8.1 for RT comes out. Should Firefox be more likely to work on the RT then? (That is assuming it works on the Pro then!)

No, 8.1 won't change the story for Windows RT.
