Why are we not able to view live-racing video on Bet America as we have for 1.5 years?
First thing to happen was a pop-up stating we needed a plug-in. After several unsuccessful attempts to download by clicking on the link, we quit trying and went back to Internet Express which works fine. Now we get only a white screen when trying to get the video on Firefox. We are getting quite dissatisfied with Firefox which has been highly recommended by the store where we purchased our laptop. Can Firefox help solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi shawin, did this problem just start recently after a Firefox version update? I noticed the forum recorded your version as 20, is that correct? You can compare using
Help > About Firefox
The reason I ask is that Firefox 21 has changed where it looks for plugins, and some installers are not yet placing the plugin in the new location. I'll come back to that if you have Firefox 21.
When Firefox says you need a plugin, does it indicate which one it's looking for? You have Flash; could it be looking for Windows Media Player? I don't see that one on your plugins list. Here are a couple of relevant articles on that plugin:
- Play Windows Media files in Firefox with the Windows Media plugin (all versions of Firefox)
- Windows Media or other plugins stopped working after Firefox update (Firefox 21)
