My keyboard tab key suddenly doesn't work in Firefox 20. What could have disables this?
What details do you want?
Chosen solution
Did you try to close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Does it work on other applications? If not, it's most likely just the tab key on your keyboard and has nothing to do with Firefox. If it does...then you'll probably have to wait for someone else to answer your question, because I don't really know.

This question was in response to the stupid Firefox prompt....
Now I'm looking for the "Open mouth, insert foot" function. It seems that the simple "Reboot" worked out this issue. FF had crashed earlier, and then reopened with the same tabs as the previous session, but my keyboard tab key wouldn't work. It also acted up in Thunderbird, simultaneously. They both work now, after the hard reboot.
Thanks for the slap upside the head. K I S S!
