The Enter key does not work on V20 on the URL line on some machines and the normal fixes do not work.
On upgrade to V20, we have experienced issues with the ENTER key not working on the navigation bar. You cannot put in www.google.com and then enter. The arrow does not work either. We have reset, gone to safe mode...gotten rid of all the add-ins and extensions. Still does it.

The URL typing issue is a bug in Firefox 20 with Some windows Server Environments. We are currently working on it and hopefully will have a fix rolled out in the new few days.
That Bug affects users with 'roaming Profiles' in the Windows Server environment.
Using Windows XP. Disabled all Add-ons and extensions: problem not solved. Copied Firefox profile from network folder (Samba server on Linux) to local drive, start Firefox with --profile <local folder>: problem solved...
Search Engines and Saved tabs have also disappeared in V20.0 with W7 Roaming profile. Cutting a separate Q for that.
This is currently investigated and tracked via this bug report.
- Bug 857672 - Address Bar not working (roaming profiles;UNC path support OS.File)

Hello, I have a similar issue:
Many shortcut keys don't work in various apps/sites in the browser window: CTRL-C / T / D / .. BACKSPACE to go back, arrows to move in a text, TAB to go from field to field, etc.
Real pain... (since upgrade to V20 a few days ago)
Following another suggestion here, I went into about:config, and disabled the parameter "allowclipboardhelper.tabs.disabled" set to "false". No changes.
I'm on Mac OSX 10.7.5 (Lion).
ecolog.is, please file a new thread, as you are experiencing a different issue (this thread is about windows only and was fixed in Firefox 20.0.1)
