I use firefox portable and have disabled auto-update in Options, but it still automatically downloaded and installed version 16.0.2 from 14.0.1

I use Firefox portable 14.0.1 and it was displaying you are on release update channel. Even with the auto-update option disabled, it updated to version 16.0.2 thus resulting in some of my add-ons not working.
