How do you permanently close tabs on FF 14.0.1 on MacBook Pro, OS 10.7.4, tabs that I have closed keep reappearing, even after closing and restarting FF.

I recently upgraded to FF 14.0.1 running on MacBook Pro with OS 10.7.4

I like many of the new features, but when I close tabs by clicking on the X on the right side of the tab, the tabs reappear whenever I restart FF. Should this be happening?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
