Adding new toolbar creates height issue and messes up tabs
I added a new toolbar but after it was created, it negatively affects the space below it. Hard to describe but easier to show (NT is the New Toolbar. Red arrow is the problem area.)

I reproduced the problem in a brand new localstore.rdf file just to make sure there was nothing weird going on. I also have the issue of lack of persistence when I "unview" a[ny] toolbar and restart Firefox. But that seems to be an ongoing known issue and not really my concern right now. Looking into that led me to the localstore.rdf potential corruption issue -- which I do not have.
The line/overlap/overflow/underflow issue did not show up in the same session when the toolbar was created I think. But it does every subsequent time.
Note that this new toolbar is actually my 2nd added toolbar. THe HOME/NEWTAB toolbar has always been there created by me long ago. Only the GMARK toolbar is brand new generating this issue.
No theme, other than Minimalist One persona.

Does this also happen with all extensions disabled and using the default theme?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I don't know. I doubt it would change. That would take some time and effort to recreate. My addons are not appearance related. I felt a fresh localstore was sufficient, but I will try that sometime.
In the meantime, I did try one quick thing. If I use Icons only (not Icons and Text), the problem does not occur. Seems to me FF is not calculating enough vertical space for the toolbars, text and/or tabs. I believe the system info attached to the report shows all my font sizes. I don't think they are especially big.

Firefox seems to work just fine in that regard, until users start installing all sorts of add-ons - some of which may interact with other add-ons and cause a problem such as that. But I guess it is just easier to blame Firefox than spend a few minutes reading help articles and try the suggested troubleshooting procedures and finding out the cause.
Did you even try the Firefox SafeMode?
It takes about 5 seconds to disable an add-on theme and maybe another 5 seconds to open the Help menu and click on Restart with Add-ons disabled (which restarts Firefox in the Firefox SafeMode).
It takes about 5 minutes to arrange toolbars the way I had them to demonstrate the problem. And I definitely had read tons of troubleshooting first on THIS problem to discover the localstore.rdf component. safe mode/disable addons is a generic answer that doesn't always apply.
In my software engineering career, the first thing we did when the customer reported a problem and did not supply a reproducer was to attempt to reproduce it ourselves with the information given. I guess there really is no similar customer support here.
And if it works in safe mode then you are going to say use a new profile. been there done that. Using FF for a gazillion years, I know the ropes. I shoulda stayed at 3.6. Always always always run into crap after an upgrade. I had no security issues. One site wasn't working right and after 3 days of debugging I found the problem and it was not 3.6.

Your welcome! It's a shame that you just want to come up with asinine toolbar configurations and then wonder why Firefox doesn't work the way you expect it to, and then waste our time trying to help when you really don't want help to begin with.
If I got a customer service report on a bug in a real software company, I would be fired if I insulted the customer and told them they shouldn't be doing something asinine. First of all, there's nothing asinine about it. Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry we all pick the styles we like. Some like text, some like icons (mostly those younger folk with great eyesight).
But it doesn't even matter if it is extreme or not or not to YOUR preferences. It should work correctly or not be allowed. If I wanted an ugly default theme and limited styles, may as well use another browser. If FF can't handle it, FF needs to take responsibility or be judged accordingly.
