Everytime I open firefox, my Eset anti-virus alerts me of a potential dangerous link which is a 1clickdownloader.com link. How do I get rid of this?

Hello Instigator,

it seems like you might have a malware attached to your Firefox web browser. To remove it, download MalwareBytes anti-malware (free) and run a full scan while Firefox is opened. Also try to remove the Add-On from your browser if possible before running the scan. You should also run a complete anti-virus scan to make sure everything is clean.

Thank you for your patience and please let me know how it goes.

Hello Instigator,

I'm very glad I could assist you with your issue and would like to thank you once for your patience and all your interest in Mozilla Firefox. I would however like to remember you to run a complete anti-virus and anti-malware scan at the end of the day if possible, as there might still be some malicious software running on your computer that your Eset anti-virus overlooked.

Thank you for your valuable time and have a great day! Surf safe!

Have updated eSet and scanned, have downloaded the latest version of Malwarebytes and scanned. I can't find a way (yet) to get rid of 1clickdownloader.

Anyone have any other suggestions?
