URL of site disappears from location bar, says only "go to a website"
After a window has been open for awhile, the url is no longer shown. The only way I can get it back is to go to another site and then click on the back arrow. The Window tab shows only Mozilla Firefox. This does not happen with all sites, maybe 60 percent.

To start in Safe Mode, quit Firefox and then hold down the Option key while starting it. It turned out that the culprit was DivX Plus Web Player. I disabled it and now FF works just fine.
