Everytime I try to use the google search engine (however, google maps does work), the following message is shown (transalted by me - from Polish): "Wrong redirection. Firefox has detected, that the server redirects the request for this in a way which makes ending the operation impossible" (no idea how accurate this translation is, I did my best though). I've checked the coockie settings a few times, this certainly doesn't help. Firefox "Help" does not provide an answer as to what to do with this.

The entire message in Polish:

"Nieprawidłowe przekierowanie

Firefox wykrył, że serwer przekierowuje żądanie tego zasobu w sposób uniemożliwiający jego ukończenie.

Problem ten może się pojawić w wyniku zablokowania lub odrzucenia ciasteczek."

Or Code: 302 Found

There is some malware that will redirect you away from a Google results screen to unexpected destinations, but it sounds as though you can't get to Google at all.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here

Right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

You will notice that the list is filtered to the site you're currently viewing. Change the search box to read google.com and then remove those cookies. Repeat with your local version of Google as needed.

Does that help?
