I have reinstalled without success. I have deleted from the program permissions list on firewall and relisted without success. I have disabled PC Tools Spyware doctor. I even tried using the default user agent adjustment as a long shot without success. All Add ons have been disabled. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am back to reluctantly using IE.

Thanks for that John. I have been through those and still no cigar. I uninstalled the PC Doctor spyware program just to remove one more possible point of issue but still nothing. I have uninstalled firefox, run a registry cleaner and reinstalled clean. Still nothing. At this point I do not want to invest anymore time into the browser so I shall maybe look for a download for an earlier version and run with that.

Try installing Firefox Portable 3.6 as an additional browser. It is still a supported version at present.http://portableapps.com/news/2012-02-01_-_firefox_portable_3.6.26_released and will be independent of any other firefox installs.
