Somehow, "Mt websearch" has installed itself on my computer.I am 59 years of age and I dont know a computer from a flying brick, but I need it in 14 hours to start work tomorrow.How do I get rid of it? I have clicked on "Start/Control Panel/ Add and Remove etc etc , but I cannot get rid of it, whast do I do next?

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Swarnava, I have emailed on the CORRCT channel to say thank you for your assistance I sent 2 emails by clicking on "Reply", but I gather these may not get to you Thak you for your help.I scanned my computer using "SUPERAnti spyware"and it detected over 1375 errors, of which 73 were serious.It tokk nearly 2 housr to complete the scan.My computer was chock-a -block with errors and rubbish I also managed to get rid of the front screen- whatever it was, now I have my computer under control once again

I dont know much about computers , but I had to sit down now and start work from home, so you got me going again, so many thanks I will continue to scan using the programs you suggested All the best Mark McLaren Brisbane Australia
