Lately and frequently, pictures come up completely black when trying to view. If I right click and click on "View Image" this usaully helps with just that one picture.
For several months now - nearly every time I go to any web site - a lot of the pictures are just completely blacked out. I tried reloading the page but this doesn't help.

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 9 and check

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
- Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Also make sure that you haven't enabled HTTP pipelining
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
