Win 7 Home Premium From user 2 with Firefox 8.0.1 not running, I copied|replaced the following files from user 1 too user 2: places.sqlite, key3.db, signons.sqlite. When I started user 2'2 firefox, the booksmarks & PW the I copied from user 1 is MIA.

Copying key3.db and signons.sqlite to a profile folder should make those passwords appear in the Password Manager provided that the files aren't corrupted and were working in the other profile.

If you copy a places.sqlite file then make sure that all other places files like places.sqlite-journal are removed.
If that doesn't work the restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder instead.
