Why doe s "Bing" always appear when I open a new blank tab? I want to stop this. Thanks, please advise.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Did not work......... there is no Bing in extensions within Add-ons in my Firefox. So I still don't know how to solve the problem. thanks, please advis.e
Go to control panel add/remove programs and see if bing is there, then uninstall see if this helps
