I have installed Firefox & it starts to put up the Home page then the program FREEZES UP. How do I fix the problem????????

I have installed Firefox & it starts to put up the Home page for the first time, then the program FREEZES UP. The only thing I can do then is shut down the program.

I have re-installed Firefox 3 or 4 times. I have deleted Firefox program before re-installing Firefox. Nothing I have tried seems to work, it has the same problem.

How do I fix the problem????????

Hi dasher,
