Drop down menu appears, but, cannot be highlighted. All options disappear when cursor is moved.
Drop down menu appears. However, as I move cursor to highlight it, everything on drop down menu disappears. Yesterday, I temporarily disabled Add-ons, and it worked. I believe I only have one Add-on. Is there an Add-on I should add? There was no problems w/ Internet Explorer.

You appear to have found the cause of the problem, the add-on that you disabled ! what is that add-on ?
Note plugins may sometimes also cause problems, especially if they are not up to date. Plugins are not disabled when firefox safe mode is used, they have to be disabled as an additional step.
To try again with add-ons disabled try using safe mode <-- clikable link --
- when entering safe mode do not make changes, just click on continue
- it is also best to use only the default theme
- if problems continue, then whilst still in safe mode, also disable plugins.
Yes, Sir! I only had ONE Add-on which was Norton Toolbar. I disabled it and "Wow!" it worked! I had no idea for keeping Norton Toolbar caused such problems.

It seems many users have problems with Norton toolbar, but others may claim it is ok. The problem with Norton Toolbar could depend on not only the version of Firefox and Norton toolbar but also some other factors or extension. A related thread is /questions/881436
