Printing is not working! Everything is printing down a center column of a page. All other browers and my Macbook pro print perfectly, so this is entirely a firefox issue. HELP. Thanks, Sindy
Everything prints down the center of the page on all websites, emails etc. I don't know how to reset the printing and find it extremely complicated to troubleshoot. Can someone please call me to rectify this situation? Or send me a phone number for help. Thanks, Sindy Todo

The first support article that mha007 mentioned says that you may need to reset all the prefs for the problematic printer, which is why I suggested that.
The two preferences that are probably incorrect are these. Reset those prefs at least.

Sounds like excessively wide page margins set in Firefox for that printer. Can't help you on a Mac with checking that out besides telling you to inspect the Page Setup settings.
That print.print_printer has disappeared in the about:config list. So that won't work.
print.print_printer should reappear after you print something. Plus, you should reset all the prefs for that particular printer.
How do I reset all the "prefs". I did the reset on the print.print_printer and it still didn't fix this mess... thanks for your help!
Did you try selecting your Printer as described in the Print Window Settings section ??
Yes, and I have two printers. A HP laser jet and a Kodak color printer. Both of them are having this printing issue only in Firefox. Sigh.
When you check the page in Print Preview, is it showing the page correctly or is it the same as in the printout ??

Ok, this is interesting. I don't have a print preview option, but when I open the email (it's gmail), and it shows like the full page and what you expect to see printed. So, I guess I'd say yes its showing correctly in the "preview". Its when is goes to the printers that it comes out in a narrow column. Thanks!
Try printing a page after checking it in the Print Preview (click Firefox button -> go to Print sub-menu -> click Print Preview)
Check and tell if its working.
When I look under the "firefox" button at the top left hand beside the apple icon, my list has these things: About Firefox Preferences Services Hide Firefox Hide Others Show All Quit Firefox
That's all I have! No print preview. Next to the Firefox, is then the regular drop downs :file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools window help.
I'm not trying to be dense, here I just can't figure out how this got whacked out! It worked fine and I'm wondering if the new update messed it up. Thanks so much for your help and patience. Sindy
Sry.
Print Preview is under File Menu.
Modified
Nope, no print preview under file... I get page setup and print and then you get some options. I just printed something in Safari and noticed that I had to reselect the paper options. But then it printed just fine. I know in Word I get a print preview.

BINGO! I think that did the trick. I just can't figure out how it messed up. One day all was well then it went crazy. Could of been the recent update...who knows. I sure appreciate your help and diligence. I still wish there would be a phone number and person to troubleshoot with however. Would of saved me a lot of time. Thanks again, Sindy -

Glad to hear it

This was the fix to the problem. Reseting print margins left and right. Thanks so much.
I'm having these same issues. There is no "print preview" and I have no idea how many pages are going to print out and furthermore how to print only the pages I need.
I have a Samsung CLP-315W (wireless) How do you reset the preferences for this or any printer?
Please Help!
