(Mac OSX 10.6) For quite awhile, if I clicked on a link while holding down the COMMAND key, Firefox would automatically open the link in a new tab in the browser. This is no longer functional. Can you help me get this functionality back??

This link does not answer my question. I know how to get a context menu up.

My question was there was that the shortcut COMMAND RETURN used to open a hyperlink in a new tab WITHOUT having to first go to a context menu and no longer is working in my system. (Maybe that explains the problem a bit clearer?)

Crtl + left-click on Windows/Linux or on Mac Cmd + left-click should still open a link in a new tab.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
