For some reason, I can no longer make new tabs by doing control T or even file new tab! I can still do it in google chrome and internet explorer, but I like firefox the best and have stopped using it because of this malfunction! What gives?
I really want to be able to make tabs on my browser again, but it's not working. Neither control t, File new tab or even clicking the plus next to the already open tab will work. I've stopped using firefox after losing this feature, but I like it so much better than google chrome I really want it back.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
Your system details show that toolbar in the user agent as AskTbFXTV5/3.12.2.16749
