blank web page opens with links when I open a saved bookmark

When I tried to do my on line banking it opens to the page where I put in my passwords then within seconds opens up on the website. This is also happening on other web sites where a password is required.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
